Our Integrative Approach

Tools & Frameworks You'll Master

This training doesn't just teach theory; it equips you with practical, evidence-informed tools and frameworks rooted in somatic wisdom and neuroscience. You'll learn to integrate these powerful approaches:

  1. Polyvagal Theory Application:

Go beyond textbook knowledge. Learn to apply Polyvagal Theory practically to track nervous system states, foster safety (Ventral Vagal), and navigate activation (Sympathetic) or shutdown (Dorsal Vagal) effectively in sessions.

  2. Somatic Awareness Practices:

Master techniques to guide clients (and yourself) into the body's "felt sense," increasing capacity to process sensations and emotions directly without bypassing.

  3. Nervous System Tracking:

Develop keen observational skills to read the subtle language of the body – breath patterns, posture shifts, micro-expressions – understanding what they reveal about underlying states.

  4. Window of Tolerance Navigation:

Learn to gently assess client capacity, work effectively within their tolerance for stress, and use tools to expand it over time, preventing overwhelm.

  5. Resourcing & Resilience Building:

Help clients identify unique internal and external resources. Co-create personalized "Resilience Routines" that build nervous system flexibility and capacity day-to-day.

  6. Ethical Frameworks & Scope:

Practice within clear ethical guidelines. Master consent conversations, navigate power dynamics consciously, and know precisely when and how to refer out.

  7. Trauma-Sensitive Container Creation:

Learn the art of setting agreements, structuring sessions, and using language that fosters physiological safety, inclusivity, and trust from the start.

  8. Embodied Mentorship:

Receive personalized feedback and guidance in intimate small groups, helping you integrate complex skills directly into your practice with confidence.

  9. Co-Regulation Skills:

Become a regulating presence for your clients by understanding attachment dynamics and utilizing your own centered nervous system to create safety in connection.

  • Will Rezin

Will Rezin is an expert and educator specializing in applied somatics, trauma resolution, and developmental processes, dedicated to advancing human potential through embodied awareness. As Owner of Trauma and Somatics and Founder of Formative Somatics, he develops and delivers sophisticated training programs and provides coaching for high-impact individuals globally.

Will’s work integrates contemporary neuroscience, psychological theory, and insights from esoteric traditions with a deep grounding in applied somatic methodologies. He synthesizes developmental attachment theory and sensorimotor approaches with nervous system physiology, building upon the foundations laid by early somatic pioneers. This unique synthesis informs methodologies designed to enhance interoceptive capacity, facilitate nervous system regulation, and resolve patterns stemming from trauma and developmental deficits. His approach moves beyond symptom management to address the underlying psychophysiological organization shaping perception and behavior.

He employs diverse modalities, including Somatic Experiencing®, Formative Somatics®, and applied psychodrama, to help clients access profound levels of self-awareness and cultivate adaptive resilience. The objective is not mere comfort, but developing the capacity to engage fully with the complexities of life, fostering greater effectiveness, connection, and purpose.

With over a decade of experience, Will has consulted for and coached industry leaders, innovators, and professionals across numerous sectors, including individuals associated with NASA, Google, Boeing, National Geographic, Emmy award-winning producers, and Fortune 500 companies. His work aims to foster systemic change by equipping practitioners and leaders with the tools to navigate complexity and cultivate presence, contributing to more integrated and resilient individuals and communities.

Ultimately, Will envisions the cultivation of a global “somatic culture,” where embodied intelligence is recognized as fundamental to personal well-being and collective evolution. This involves a fundamental shift from widespread disconnection towards presence, relational attunement, and systemic structures that honor the body’s wisdom. By fostering somatic literacy and integrating these principles into leadership, education, and healthcare, the potential emerges for a future grounded in deeper human connection, resilience, and the full expression of our shared aliveness.
